Family Movie Night: Wreck It Ralph

       We loved our Jungle Book movie night soo much, we have decided to do these more often. Since none of saw Wreck it Ralph && it had just came out on video - that was the one we were going to do next. I must say it was difficult to come up with a themed dinner based around a movie I hadn't even seen. I googled && wikipedia'ed the crap out of this movie so that I could come up with a neat menu for the kiddies. Like the last one.... we had a blast.

Menu
Glitch Burgers
Fix it Felix Fries
Wrecked Potato Salad
Sonic Mist to Drink
&&
Cola Mountain Floats
w. Hero Cookies

It was extremely yummy... the kids dug right into their food =]
Arts N' Crafts Time
The kids colored pictures of the two main characters && then we all made our own Hero Medals
Showing off their medals && posing skills<3
My Princess && Me
The whole group
   Movie Time!!

       All in all, it was a great night again. We are thinking about doing Cinderella or Snow White for our next one. So lets hope that one goes as smoothly as these last two =]

Blondie's Co-Ed Beer Pong Tourney

    Not many people look at Beer Pong in a good light. Why?!? Because it consists of drunken kids getting crazy && out of line while playing a game where you throw a ball into a cup. Thats not all its about though. We are a family && our family spreads all around the U.S. to Canada, even to England! I have met some of the best people && some of my greatest friends playing this "stupid" little game. I can go anywhere for vacation && have someone to stay && party with. Granted, we do end up drunk, but we have a GREAT time while doing it.

    Our community has a big organizer called "Bpong." Every year Bpong throws a 50,000k Tournament in Las Vegas at the beginning of the year. As players, this is what we strive for... why we play this game. Its our Superbowl <3 All year long we praticipate in minor tourneys for a chance to win a bid to the big tournament && prove that we are one of the greats at "The World Series of Beer Pong". This year Bpong has added another Tournament, Masters of Beer Pong. Again, this Tournament is in Las Vegas && its for 100,000k. Even better =]

    My husband and I our one of the minor organizers. We throw many touneys for bids in our city of Las Vegas - We dont do it for the money (we barely break even) but we have a great time throwing them. On Friday, we threw our first Co-ed Tourney of the year at Blondie's Sportsbar. Even though I dont remember much of that night, I remember I had an awesome time. We had a total of 32 teams, this is the standings....

1st Place: Aaron S. (San Diego) && Brandi W.
2nd Place: Arnold C. && LeAnn S.
Tied for 3rd Place: Rickey S. && Meagan
AJ && Sonja

       I honestly dont remember what place I recieved...... =/
Here is a group shot of my girls && me.. you can definately tell my eyes have glossed over at this point.

     Maybe I took one to many shots that night. We were taking Pineapple Upside Down Cake Shots. They are seriously the most tasty shots I have ever had the pleasure of trying. They go down real smooth especially if you are not a shot person.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake Shot

    In the end.. we didn't end up getting home until the wee hours of morning && when I woke up the next morning I was still drunk - Thats how you know you had a fun night. Cant wait until the next one.

Family Movie Night: Jungle Book

         Looking around Pintrest I found a wonderful idea for family movie nights with the kiddies. I loved the thought of having a night of crafts, movies, && a themed dinner. My first try at this was on Sunday. I decided since none of the kids had saw "The Jungle Book" that would be the movie for our first night =]

I handed these printouts to the kids. It explained the themed dinner we would be having, as well as, their ticket into the movie

We set up the table ..... Plenty of crayons, markers, && glue to go around. The kids then started to color their hats && do their activity sheets. All while sipping on "Jungle Juice"

Now it was time for the food .....
Shere Khan's Meaty Pizza
Baloo's Bare Necessities Salad
Mowgli's Man Cub Pasta
&& Kaa's Garlic Knots

Yummmm =)

MOVIE TIME!!!!
The kids had their tickets ready && were excited to watch it

Last but not least they got to enjoy dessert
King Louie's Banana Splits

And of course we needed a group photo of all of us that participated. The kids had fun but so did us grown ups. It was a great night full of memories && fun. We can't wait to do it again!

 We liked it soo much we already decided to do it again this weekend. We have chosen the movie of the night will be "Wreck it Ralph" since none of us have seen it. I must say it has been hard coming up with themed food ideas for a movie I haven't seen but I will figure it out. Til next time...

Then you have my mini me, Kaydence
------------------>>>>
She has personality && attitude for days. Wants to grow up && be a Doctor but right now she enjoys competition dance =]

I also have a Step Son named Jayden. He is my daughters best friend. We don't get to see him often, but when we do these two are inseparable

My life pretty much revolves around them, my friends, && the rest of my family. During my spare time I like to plan && have Family Movie Nights && play Beer Pong. We travel a lot for Beer Pong so I hardly have a dull moment. This blog will be filled with stories from my life, the things we do, && some of the crazy things we say....
